Welcome to the first edition of Business Summer School that will take place between 19th of August – 2nd September 2007.

   The Business Summer School (BSS) is an academic program for learning in an international context, and a forum for developing intercultural understanding. During two weeks of stay in Brasov, both Romanian and foreign students will participate in debates, workshops and seminars. The academic and the practical approaches are combined in order to fully cover the learning span of the subject.

   The theme of the Business Summer School is:
“Globalization and the new business models for investments”

   The courses of the Business Summer School will be entirely in English. The test taken at the end of the two weeks will grant the participants 4 ECTS credits.

   The structure of the summer school will be divided in two weeks, each week having the following characteristics:
  1. first week is reserved for the lectures regarding Globalization and its effects regarding the international investment environment as well on the new markets and global investment instruments. Different globalization aspects, international financial markets, financial risk management and financial global strategies will be debated.

  2. second week is reserved for presenting different instruments and techniques peculiar for financial business models. The curricula will be focused on presenting the leading evaluation models and business analysis as well as techniques of financial engineering. We will also bring up alternative theories from the behaviorist financial area and cognitive psychology.
